World wildlife photography was born out of a passion for wildlife and photography in 2011 and is run by zoologist Georgina Andersen. Georgina currently resides in Denmark but frequently travels for the work that she does.

During her degree in Denmark, Georgina jumped at every opportunity to travel abroad and involve herself with wildlife. She has volunteered in a rehabilitation centre, a lion park, a dolphin centre and a cheetah centre in South Africa; Tsavo West national park in Kenya; two dolphin centres in Australia and spent 10 months at the Kalahari Meerkat project, South Africa completing her master’s degree.

Whilst gaining hands on experience with wildlife she simultaneously developed her interests in photography and writing.

“I capture a nano second of an animal’s life and hold it still for people to admire and learn from”
